Dallin Earl, Alec Viera, Jaren Garff, Jeff Reed, and Travis Neal go to Mount Diablo State Park with Kevin Ganschow, Nate Anderson, and John Quereto to go rapelling. They drive up to the Juniper Campground and set up camp. The Young Men get jealous when they see Nate blowing up an aero bed in the bed of his truck.
Some raccoons get into their campsite, so the Young Men go and try to hunt them down. After an unsuccessful hunt, they go on a night hike to Mount Diablo Summit. Along the way, they try this thing where Dallin goes on ahead and hides somewhere along the trail. The other guys try to find him in the dark, but then Dallin jumps out and scares them.
They eventually get to the top, hang around there, and take in the beautiful view. When they get back to camp, they find out a raccoon had broken into the raccoon safe box and stolen Jeff's trail mix. They didn't bring a tarp, so they sleep out in the dirt. In the middle of the night, a giant bug flies into Alec's sleeping bag. This scares him, and he and Jeremy go and sleep on the picnic table the rest of the night. Everyone wakes up, completely covered in dirt. This is considered the worst camping experience they ever had.
In the morning, they pack up camp, eat some breakfast, and head down to an area off the side of the road to go rapelling. Dallin is the first to go. Kevin tells him what to do, but Dallin gets uncomfortable, because his harness is crushing his crotch. Once he gets all situated, he starts making his way down the cliff. After Dallin goes, Jaren, Jeremy, and Jeff all go.
After several rounds of rapelling, Jeremy and Travis find a baby lizard. They pull a prank on Dallin by putting the lizard in his glove. Dallin puts on his glove, not expecting to find a baby lizard in it.
